• Traveling around Southeast Asia as a child changed my life in many ways, but was especially important in my journey to veganism. The juxtaposition of beauty, spirituality, simplicity, intricacy, cruelty, and filth contrasted to what I experienced as a sanitized and homogenous exterior of my suburban upbringing.

The gorgeous Lotus flower is somewhat ubiquitous and highly symbolic in parts of Asia. They are absolutely awe inducing and delicious. For me, the lotus represents many of the wonderful experiences of my time abroad. This piece will bring you joy, luck, and serenity.
